Privacy Policy

This policy describes how Argora collects, uses, and protects information when you use the Argora suite — the applications and services available under argora.net (the “Services”). It should be read together with our Terms of Service.

We collect three kinds of information:

• Account information — your name, email address, organization membership, and authentication records, managed through Argora ID.
• Workspace content — the mail, files, documents, messages, tasks, records, and signatures your team creates or stores in the Services. This content belongs to you.
• Operational data — logs, device and browser metadata, IP addresses, and usage events needed to secure and operate the platform (for example sign-in history and e-signature audit trails).
• Financial account data— if your organization connects a bank or card account in Argora Books, we receive account details (institution, account name and type, balances) and transaction history for the accounts you choose to connect. See “Financial account connections” below.

We use information only to provide, secure, and improve the Services: authenticating you, syncing your content across the suite, sending notifications you asked for, preventing abuse, and diagnosing problems. We do not sell personal data or workspace content, we do not use your content for advertising, and we do not use it to train machine learning models.

• Your organization — workspace owners and administrators control membership and can access data within their workspace.
• Platform operators — Argora staff access customer data only when necessary to operate or support the platform, under audit.
• Recipients you choose — for example, people you email, share files with, or send documents to for signature.

We never give third parties access to your content for their own purposes.

Argora Books lets your organization connect bank and card accounts using Plaid. When you link an account, you authenticate directly with your financial institution through Plaid — we never see or store your banking credentials. Plaid then provides us the account and transaction data for the accounts you selected, which we use solely to power your organization’s own bookkeeping: the bank feed, transaction categorization, matching against invoices and bills, and bank reconciliation. We do not sell this data, share it with third parties for their own purposes, or use it for advertising or credit decisions.

You can disconnect a linked account at any time from Argora Books, after which we stop receiving new data for it; imported transactions remain part of your organization’s accounting records until you delete them. Plaid’s handling of your information is described in the Plaid End User Privacy Policy, and you can review or revoke Plaid connections in Plaid Portal.

The Services run on infrastructure hosted with Amazon Web Services in the United States. Email delivery uses AWS Simple Email Service. Bank and card connections are provided by Plaid, and online invoice payments are processed by Stripe. These providers process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy commitments; no other subprocessors receive your content.

All traffic is encrypted in transit with TLS. Access to production systems is restricted to platform operators, tenant data is isolated per organization, and sessions can be revoked suite-wide through Argora ID single logout. During the private beta we are continuing to harden the platform; report security concerns to the contact below.

We keep your data for as long as your organization uses the Services. Administrators can export workspace data. When an organization’s access ends, its data is made available for export for a reasonable period and then deleted in the ordinary course of operations. Some records (such as e-signature audit trails) may be retained longer where the law or the signed documents’ validity requires it.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. Requests can go to your organization’s administrator or directly to us at the address below, and we will respond within a reasonable time.

We may update this policy as the Services evolve. Material changes will be announced to organization administrators before they take effect.
